Free Monthly Offerings
Journey Home is dedicated to supporting our community. Our centre, located in beautiful downtown Dundas, hosts many free drop-in services.

All are welcome to come share, listen, support, and be with life's challenges.
Creating a compassionate community through group gatherings shows we are never alone.
Grief Support
Every Tuesday
10 to 11 am
In times of sorrow, our empathetic grief counsellors are here to help lighten the heaviness of loss. You're not alone in this journey.  Grief is a normal reaction when we lose someone or something close to us. Grief can develop after the death of a loved one, a relationship breakup, the death of a pet, the loss of a job, or other losses because of disease or accident.
Palliative Diagnosis Support
Every Tuesday
11:15 to 12:15 pm

A community for individuals with a palliative diagnosis, offering a safe space to share fears, frustrations, and emotions while receiving support throughout their journey.

Dealing with a palliative diagnosis can be challenging and draining. Let Journey Home be your companion on this path.

Caregiver Support
Every 3rd Tuesday of the Month
12:30 to 1:30 pm

Transitioning from spouse, parent, and friend to caregiver can be complicated and overwhelming. It involves managing, advocating, and coordinating medication and treatment, which can be challenging.

If you are experiencing exhaustion and a sense of loss of self, along with anticipatory grief, consider reaching out to other caregivers for support and understanding.

Death Cafe
Every 3rd Thursday of the Month
10 to 11am

Our Death Cafes are open space for our community to gather to eat cake, drink tea, and discuss death. We intend to increase awareness of death to help people become comfortable in the uncomfortable and be empowered in life and death. A Death Cafe is a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives, or themes.
