Walk Your Community Home

Death Doula Certification & Self-Empowerment Program

A call to presence, courage, and compassionate service

This isn’t about death - it's about how we live and how we care for one another when life becomes tender.

To walk someone home at the end of life is one of the most profound acts of service a human being can offer. A death doula does not fix, rush, or rescue.

They walk beside with steadiness, honesty, reverence, and heart.

This in-person certification is an invitation to become that kind of presence in your community.

Who This Program Is For

This program is for people who feel called, not just curious.

You may be:

  • A community member, caregiver, or volunteer

  • A healthcare, hospice, social service, or wellness professional

  • Someone who has experienced death up close and feels changed by it

  • Someone seeking deeper meaning, grounded service, and conscious living

No medical background is required, as a Doula is a non-medical role - reclaiming death to be a sacred life experience held in the hands of the community.

What Makes This Program Different

This is not a fast-track or online certification.

  • In-person (because presence cannot be taught through a screen)

  • Slow, spacious, and relational

  • Rooted in real community needs

  • Deeply reflective and experiential

  • Shared experiences, somatic practices and deep connection to self and others

  • Teachings, presentations and connections to local end of life community organizations and businesses

We believe you cannot companion others through death without first meeting your own

relationship with impermanence, grief, fear, and love.

This program honours that truth.
